Who is RemodelFin for?
RemodelFin is built for residential remodeling contractors who need real-time profit visibility on every job. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only by size. Starter ($29 USD/month) covers up to 5 active projects and 3 users. Growth ($79 USD/month) covers up to 25 active projects and 10 users. Pro ($149 USD/month) covers up to 100 active projects and 25 users.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and no credit card is required to start. You get every feature during the trial, on every plan. The only difference between plans is how many active projects and users you can have. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any point during or after your trial.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; we have no annual contracts and all subscriptions are billed monthly in USD. Once cancelled, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We offer a straightforward 14-day refund window on all charges — including renewals. If you request a refund within 14 days of any charge, you are eligible for a full refund processed back to your original payment method. We do not offer partial refunds or account credits for unused time if you cancel outside of this 14-day window.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees on any plan. You can sign up and be running your first job costing spreadsheet or dashboard within minutes.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all your job data, estimates, and reports at any time before cancelling. We retain your data securely for 90 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Does RemodelFin work on mobile?
Yes. Crew can log time, snap expense receipts, and update daily logs from the Android app or any phone browser. An iOS app is in development; iPhone users can use the web app in Safari.
What is a Schedule of Values (SOV)?
The Schedule of Values module (included on every plan) lets you structure progress billing across project milestones — standard AIA-style draw requests. It ties directly to your job's financial snapshot so you can track what's billed vs. what's earned in real time.
Who can create and approve estimates?
Owners, admins, and managers can create estimates and send them for client approval. Clients receive a unique link to review and approve proposals online — no login required on their end.
